TRANSPORT PLANNER
Role
- Cost efficient route planning of frozen, chilled & ambient loads to and from Ireland, UK and Europe
- React to changing situations to accommodate additional business
- Brief drivers & subcontractors with clear instructions ensuring drivers hours & operations are compliant
- Maintain and update job information into Transport Management system
- Manage customer requirements ensuring high levels of service are maintained
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role of European transport planner
- Strong knowledge of transport industry, driver hours and CPC
- Experience dealing with customers, drivers, and hauliers
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced & pressurised environment.
- Good communications and IT skills including Excel & Outlook (or equivalent)
- Good geographical knowledge of Europe, UK & Ireland

- Be part of the Administration Team providing assistance to Transport Planners
- Obtain necessary customs clearance documents & book shipping’s using online Portals
- Upload & process customer paperwork onto Transport Management System
- Manage customer paperwork queries

- Effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communications and IT skills including Excel & Outlook (or equivalent)

HGV CONTINENTAL DRIVERS
We are currently looking for C+E drivers to represent our company and provide the highest level of service to our customers.
Main countries covered will be Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands.
Will generally be away for 13 days at a time, taking reduced rest in Europe then back in for your 45 / 66 hr rest at home.
Truck will be based at our yard in Lisburn so please do not ask if we can out base.
Essential criteria:
· Must be over 25yrs old
· Minimum of 2yrs HGV driving experience. European driving experience preferred.
· Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (share code to be provided).
· Valid UK digicard,
· Valid UK CPC
· Valid Passport
· Must have right to work in UK – (share code to be provided)
